Sherie's Garden Salsa was founded by Sherie Anderson in June 2000. Sherie relocated to Tennessee in 1996. She always loved gardening, so she started a fresh garden at her new home in Tennessee to help her plant her own roots. Her new home was miles away from her mom. She remembered the homemade salsa her mom made and it brought back such fond memories, she decided to make a jar.

She plucked some of the fresh veggies and peppers from her garden and made some salsa. She offered it up to neighbors that stopped in and some of the local kids. People threw fits over how good it was. When they couldn't get enough, she decided to expand on her salsa making skills and started up Sherie's Garden Salsa.
